CONTENTS

WHAT DO I GET IN MY BRIGHTPLAYBOX?

All the contents inside your brightplaybox are specifically chosen for the current age of your child. Each box is different. You will get the brightplaybox development guide, at least 3 toys, at least 1 book and the materials to create at least 1 activity. The brightplaybox development guide includes an overview of the development milestones your child is going through at their age and ways you can help them reach them as well as tips on how to play with the toys and really easy and simple activities you can create yourself with items you will have around the house.

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE THE CONTENTS OF MY BRIGHTPLAYBOX?

We research everything that goes into our brightplayboxes so only quality toys, books and activities that are beneficial to your child’s developments (movement, learning, hand-eye coordination, language and social and emotional) and are relevant for their age make it into the box. We also include toys that will grow with your child and have a longevity of play. Safety is of course our priority and only toys guaranteed by manufacturers for the relevant age group will be included.

DEVELOPMENT

HOW WILL BRIGHTPLAYBOX HELP MY CHILD DEVELOP?

Children develop through play. All the contents of your brightplaybox along with the practical tips for parents are geared towards helping your child develop their movement, learning, language, hand-eye coordination and social and emotional abilities. Because everything is age-appropriate your child will get the right level of challenge that they need. If toys are too advanced children get frustrated and if they are too simple they get bored.

WHAT AGES DO BRIGHTPLAYBOX COVER?

Our boxes cover newborn to 2 years as we believe that this is the most critical period of a child's development.

WHAT AGE BOX SHOULD I ORDER?

Our boxes cover 2 month periods and arrive around the 20th of the month so we suggest you choose the brightplaybox that covers the age your child will be on the 20th of the month. E.g. if your baby is 3 months, then go for the 3-4 month box. If your baby is 6 months go for the 5-6month box.

USING MY BRIGHTPLAYBOX

HOW DO I USE MY BRIGHTPLAYBOX WITH MY CHILD?

The brightplaybox development guide that you get in each brightplaybox will give you lots of ideas and tips of different ways you can use the toys, books and activities with your child. Your child will also be able to play with the toys alone, though obviously young children should be supervised at all times.

COST & PAYMENT

WHEN WILL I BE BILLED?

If you choose the 2 month subscription, payment for your first box will be taken immediately and thereafter you will be billed on the 1st of the month your next box is due (remember we send you a box every two months). If you choose the 6 or 12 month subscription, payment will be taken immediately for the 6 or 12 month period respectively.

Yes. We use Stripe for all of our payments and never handle your payment details ourselves.

DELIVERY

HOW DOES DELIVERY WORK?

If you order by the 6th of the month you will receive your brightplaybox around the 20th of the same month. If you order after the 6th of the month you will receive your brightplaybox around the 20th of the next month. Thereafter, you will receive a box once every two months (if on subscription).

HOW OFTEN WILL I RECEIVE MY BRIGHTPLAYBOX?

You will receive your brightplaybox once every 2 months. However, depending on when you order your brightplaybox, you may receive the first 2 boxes a month apart e.g. if your child is 4 months you will receive the 3-4 month box followed by the 5-6 month box a month later.

I’VE JUST ORDERED MY BOX, WHEN WILL IT ARRIVE?

If you ordered on or before the 6th of the month, you will receive your brightplaybox around the 20th of the same month. If you ordered after the 6th of the month, you will receive it around the 20th of the following month.

MY BOX HASN'T ARRIVED

If you were out, please check you don’t have a card from the courier trying to rearrange the delivery.  Then email us at hello@brightplaybox.com and we’ll look into it for you and ensure you get your brightplaybox!

CAN I RETURN MY BRIGHTPLAYBOX?

If you are not happy with your brightplaybox then please return it in full within 14 days for a refund. Please note that we cannot accept part refunds and all of the contents must be returned unopened.  Return postage is at buyer's expense. Please email us to arrange this at hello@brightplaybox.com

HOW DO I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION?

We're sorry to see you go.  If you have a 2 monthly subscription, you can cancel at any time. Just email us at hello@brightplaybox.com with your name, delivery address and order number and we will cancel your subscription. You will not be billed again or receive any additional boxes. However, if you have already been billed for the current 2 month period, your cancellation will go into effect the following month and you will still receive the current box.   

If you have a 6 or 12 monthly subscription, please email us at hello@brightplaybox.com to opt out of automatic renewal.

DO I NEED MULTIPLEBRIGHTPLAYBOXES IF I HAVE TWINS, TRIPLETS, QUADRUPLETS?

One brightplaybox should be sufficient as there are different items that your little ones can play with at different times. If, however, you’d like additional boxes delivered, just email us at hello@brightplaybox.com and we will get it sorted.
